This patch features a festive theme celebrating the new year and the addition of Lillia's new skin, "Year of the Horse Lillia." But the real highlight is the balance changes and item adjustments! The focus is on stabilizing the meta at the start of the 2026 season.
First, let's look at the champion balance. Sett, who was strong in the top lane, has been weakened with a 5% Q damage nerf and a 10% W shield reduction. Conversely, Midgar's Ahri will be buffed with a 0.5 second increase to W duration, which is expected to strengthen her early laning phase. Junglers, take note! Lee Sin's Q dash speed has been increased by 10%, making ganking sharper, and League of Legends' "dusk and dawn" themed champions (Malphite, Diana, etc.) are rising through synergy with the new lifeline tank item.
On the ADC side, Jinx received a significant buff due to the critical strike buff! The increased burst power of her basic attack makes it easier to carry in the late game. Swain also surpassed a 57% win rate, becoming an OP champion. Meta Outlook: Garen/Jax are recommended for top lane as a setter counter, while control mages are strong in mid lane with Ahri/Orianna. Jungle is dominated by Lee Sin/Malphite, a ganking meta.
